Consent and Coercion

In order to succeed in the current state of affairs as a nation, we, as a people, have to understand the importance of consent and it’s enemy, coercion.
Like James Lindsay spoke about in a recent New Discourses “Bullet,” looking at Covid as an example, a large group of people didn’t trade their sovereignty for safety’s sake. The result was that the government’s plan backslide.
The government banked on people not knowing that they were being coerced into forfeiting their right to consent to the government with a moral dilemma of doing it “for the good of others.” But our individual ability to give consent is what protects our sovereignty as humans bound to the “Laws of Nature and Nature’s God.”
If we are willing to give up on that sovereignty, then what, even, are rights?
Sovereignty sets us apart from slavery. We had a couple of major wars over it.
